چکیده مقاله
Abstract
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a well-established carcinogen that induces chronic inflammation and
various cellular responses, including autophagy and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), which
are critical for tumor progression and metastasis. The relationship between H. pylori, autophagy,
EMT, and tumor progression is a complex interplay that significantly contributes to gastric cancer
(GC) pathogenesis. This review delves into the intricate interplay between autophagy and EMT in the
context of H. pylori infection, exploring the molecular mechanisms by which this bacterium
manipulates these pathways to promote gastric carcinogenesis. Understanding these interactions is
crucial for developing targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of H. pylori on
GC progression.
