A note on the associated primes of local cohomology modules

 In this note we give a simple proof of the folowing
result: Let $R$ be a commutative noetherian ring, $\fa$ an ideal
of $R$ and $M$ a finite $R$-module, if $\H^i_\fa(M)$ has finite
support for all $i<n$ then $\Ass(\H^n_\fa(M))$ is finite.
